LA Arts August Art Walk is on Friday in downtown Lewiston from 5-9 p.m.Lewiston's downtown turns into a bustling art district with artists, craftspeople, musicians, art vendors, and buskers. On Saturday, there is also a huge multi-family rummage sale in South Portland. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the People's United Methodist Church on Broadway. There are tools, toys, household items, crib/youth bed, lawnmower, snowblower, kitchen items, garden tools, bools, clothing, crafts, holiday decorations, and much more. Since it is Labor Day weekend, you can also have a summer cookout that you don't cook!Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference Center in Saco there is an all-you-can-eat barbecue, live music by the band ONWARD, family games and activities. And at the Biddeford City Theater, you can experience the music of Taylor Swift with a string quartet.
