Alcaraz is 24-6 overall at the French Open. He brings in a potent 134-34 (79.8%) record on clay.
Sinner has been on a tear and is seeking his second consecutive Grand Slam championship. After reaching three straight singles titles in 2024, this is the deepest he has delved in France, coming as close as the quarterfinals in 2020.
The Italian opened up this rendition with three consecutive straight set wins over Christopher Eubanks, Richard Gasquet and Pavel Kotov. He took down Corentin Moutet in the fourth round.

Ruud, a clay court specialist, is again knocking on the door of the French Open title after finishing runner-up to Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic the past two years. Before Ruud breezed past Djokovic with a walkover, he had to battle through some challenging obstacles, including a five-set thriller over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the second round.
Ruud is 39-9 this season, including a 21-4 record on clay.
Ruud and Zverev split their all-time head-to-head 2-2. Ruud defeated Zverev in their previous meeting in last year’s French Open semifinals 6-3, 6-4, 6-0.
