      It depends on the game. Prime Gaming giveaways will either be from themselves, or a coupon code to GoG, Epic Games or Legacy Games.
      If you get a code for one of the other three stores, then it's not tied to Prime Gaming and you keep them 'forever'.
      If the giveaway is from Prime Gaming, then yes, you lose access once you're no longer a subscriber.
      Nowadays, the majority of games are from GoG and Epic.

        Doesn't distinguish between codes redeemed and the prime gaming app. You retain access to EVERYTHING you've redeemed.
        From the prime gaming FAQ:
        What happens to my game library if I cancel my Prime membership?
        You will still be able to download and play your games included with Prime you have previously claimed. If you would like to claim new games, you will need to have an active Prime membership.

  I lodged a ticket with them the other day regarding the difficulties and they responded… "Due to some unexpected problems with our infrastructure, we were experiencing technical issues that may have caused difficulties in redeeming your codes and downloading your games."
  I've just tried to redeem a game from this round and it's still erroring. Probably best to give it another go in a few hours.

    It has been deteriorating since the 3rd of this month.
    It originally would error a few times and then you'd get an email saying it had redeemed.
    Now its fully dead.

  I just try multiple times, get multiple Google challenges, then it says it doesn't work. Repeat around 3-5 times and it's in my library. Very frustrating.

  I had an issue claiming Dredge the other day, it kept giving me the error page when I tried to redeem the code, but it did show up in my library anyway, so definitely check if the game if was added anyway.

Last week I redeemed a handful by clicking through on Prime Gaming and it went to the gog went store with the code pre filled and it all worked.
Might be prior to the issues above though.

Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 enhanced edition is so good. I sometimes go back and play after a few years. Sometimes use the online guides because it is just so immense. Will never forget the first time I play Baldur's Gate 1 - so refined with intriguing story lines and a big step up from the old SSI games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Box and then Baldur's Gate 2 was even more fun.

Thanks OP, claimed a few games even though I may not have time playing them but free games are free, who doesn't love it lol.
With regards to the errors on GOG, it may show errors but just keep clicking on the retry button for a few times and it will work eventually, actually most of them worked for me on the second try.

yer don't bother redeeming in the app, go to the website. Click the "claim" button on the prime page. If it errors just leave it for a bit and try again. I've just claimed all of them, you just need to do the recaptcha at least twice per one.

Seems to be the sheer number of GOG redemption codes this time around (all available at the beginning of the month rather than staggered throughout). After 5 GOG redemptions I started getting captcha requests - two requests per redemption (the first on entering the code; the second on clicking accept to activate the redemption).
Definitely seems to be an anti-bot measure, but a bit of coordination on Amazon and GOG's part could've avoided this nonsense.

Been getting from the get go, one to enter code, one to to redeem. At least codes are redeeming but then started getting multiple requests, and those damn disappearing/reappearing images ones.. think I'll wait a while to redeem the rest…
